Declaring email bankruptcy

I have 177 blog comments to reply to from 6 March.

That's on this blog (I have a rule where they go into a special folder); I haven't even counted the ones on the organising blog.

I like to reply to each one if there's an email address (most of you have now linked your emails - thank goodness) but am afraid I need to declare email bankruptcy for my own sanity.

So I'm asking you to please bear with me; I'll answer any outright questions but otherwise know that I LOVE your comments but I just can't get to them right now.

Let's start fresh next week, shall we?

Do you reply to each and every comment?

24 comments:

  1. NOPE! I do not reply to all comments via email, just the ones that really need attention!

  2. I don't get many comments - but if you ask a question - I HAVE to answer it. :0 ...
otherwise, depends on whether it gets buried or not.

  3. Oh my goodness, I am so amazed that you even try to reply to them all! I make every effort to at least stop by all my commenters blogs. I leave a comment if I can think of something to say, but lots of times I am there and they don't even know it. Which, come to think of it, isn't that smart of me.

Can you reply to my comments? How do I set it up so that happens?

  4. I do. But then I don't get many comments so I can easily manage it. I don't feel offended if someone doesn't reply to my comment (though I LOVE it when they do) because I understand that people are busy and sometimes just can't do it.
I cannot believe that you have 177 mails? Sjoe. Good Luck. Just do a one liner for each reply.

  5. I don't. I read them all, and comment if I have something to say, but not to every single one!

  6. I do not reply to every comment. Too time consuming - you though are good of heart to do so.

  7. Oh gosh no, I am really 100% sure that you do not need to reply to every comment.I would never be able to do that. And I answer questions in the comment section so that other can know too, unless it is too personal. Then I will mail.

  8. I definitely don't reply to each comment and I certainly don't expect it of anyone else!

  9. In an ideal world I go online once a day and answer everyone per post (not individual emails! don't know where you get the time). Some days I'm just too damned tired so a skip it, but they're few and far between.
