Easter Sunday

We left the egg-buying too late (a good thing) so there was almost nothing left.  The kids had a bunny each plus one white egg plus 4 marshmallows. Which is PLENTY.

Can you believe how big the kids are?!

I still maintain that the best way to have a fantastic holiday/ special occasion day is to stay off Instagram and Facebook.

Do you agree?

  1. Facebook, yes. Instagram, not necessarily. If you're going to spend the whole day on it, then yes, definitely stay away or you'll miss the holiday. But if you're snapping and sharing a highlight here & there, I reckon it's okay. And if you have loads of pics, it's nice to be able to sort through them later and post your favourite ones...

  2. It is! But then I have Oupa and Ouma calling to find out where the Facebook pictures are. Which is actually very cool because it means they are as involved as any grandparent can be long distance

  3. I agree...and off blogger too! Your photos are lovely...and yes they have sure grown up.

  4. I guess it depends. It makes no difference to me what people do or post especially around holidays and how they celebrate. We bought one Easter bunny just before Easter which still remains uneaten till today. I refuse to buy overpriced chocolates just because it is branded eater eggs etc! Yes I'm a cheap skate like that plus I don't try to keep up with the joneses so o have fun in my own way!

  5. It's almost June and I don't think we've touched the girls' Easter candy. It's adorable...but not something I'm excited to let them eat. HA! I am sure we'll get to it this's just they get sugar stuff at school, so I have no desire to give them more at home. ;)

  6. P.S. It makes me feel much better to see you just now posting Easter pics!!! I MISS your daily blogs, but it makes me feel ever-so-slightly better to know I'm not the only one "behind"!!! :)

Thank you so much for leaving a comment and filling my love tank. I appreciate it!
